Vintage Van Halen

Rp3.300.000 Rp2.640.000

This rare vintage 1995-1996 Van Halen shirt commemorates the Balance World Tour, a pivotal yet turbulent chapter in the band’s history that marked the final studio era with lead singer Sammy Hagar. The front graphic features the iconic conjoined twins on a seesaw from the Balance album cover, conceived by photographer Glen Wexler to represent the “duality of the human psyche” and the band’s internal struggle for harmony following the death of their longtime manager, Ed Leffler. Ironically, the tour was nicknamed the “Ambulance Tour” by the band because Eddie Van Halen was struggling with a hip injury (avascular necrosis) and Alex Van Halen was forced to perform in a neck brace due to ruptured vertebrae. Despite these physical and internal tensions, the tour was a massive commercial success, grossing over $30 million and featuring the band’s first-ever use of a Jumbotron video production.
